Dr. Douglas Chang
Dr. Douglas Chang was born and raised in the Chicago Suburbs, and obtained his DDS from University of Iowa School of Dentistry. He completed a study abroad in the Netherlands at the Radboud School of Dentistry for aesthetics, before coming to head up Chang Dental Center in 2006. Dr. Chang is a lifetime member of the Christian Dental Society, active with the Chicago Dental Society and American Dental Association. He is an elected officer of the Illinois State Dental Society, and also serves on the DuPage County Board of Health, being appointed in 2022 by the DuPage County Board Chairman. Dr. Chang leads our team by example in providing patients with exceptional dental care in a warm and friendly setting. In his free time Dr. Chang keeps busy with his four teenage kids. He enjoys golfing, skiing, gardening, bird watching, and binge watching old TV series with his wife, when they get the chance.
Dr. Megan Davis
Dr. Megan Davis, a fourth generation dentist, grew up in rural southern Indiana. Earning her DDS from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2006, she has practiced in the Western Suburbs ever since, joining the Chang Dental team in 2012. Dr. Davis is most passionate about creating beautiful smiles for her patients, and in a comfy atmosphere. She is certified in conscious sedation for the patients who so dread dental work that they need that additional modality. Dr. Davis is an active member of the Chicago Dental Society, Illinois State Dental Society, and American Dental Association. She has also been abroad to do dentistry on the mission field. In her free time Dr. Davis and her husband love adventuring outdoors with their three children and going on road trips. She also likes early morning runs, the first sparkly snow of the year, and joining her kids on waterslides.

Dr. Angela Munchalfen
Dr. Angela Munchalfen grew up in a small town south of Springfield, Illinois. Earning her DMD from Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine – Illinois. Dr. Angela joined the Chang Dental team in 2023. Dr. Angela is experienced in fostering authentic connections and inspiring patients to achieve and maintain happy, healthy smiles. She is committed to providing patients with a comfortable and successful experience while also keeping up with the latest dental techniques. She is an active member of the Chicago Dental Society, Illinois Dental Society and the American Dental Society. In her free time Dr Angela loves gardening, ceramics, rock climbing, and going on endless walks with her dog Mya.
Debbie
Debbie, our dedicated and selfless office manager, is truly the hub of Chang Dental Center. With over 40 years of experience working in our dental office, there is no problem she cannot tackle and solve. She is the quintessential overseer of daily doings and loved universally by everyone, team members and patients alike. Outside the office, she and her husband enjoy traveling, family gatherings, camping and fishing.
Sherry
Sherry, with 40 years of experience in customer service, embodies what we at Chang Dental Center pride ourselves in, which is being friendly, providing excellent care, and, going that extra mile in understanding our patients and their needs. In her free time, Sherry and her husband are very active at church and enjoy spending time with friends and family, especially their granddaughter.
Christina
Christina, always ready with a warm smile whether you are checking-in or leaving, is never too busy to drop what she’s doing and come to your aid. She loves the holidays and the change of seasons so she eagerly takes charge of keeping the office decorated with everything seasonal. She and her husband enjoy doing things with their teenage twins, attending theater performances and hosting family parties.
Pavielle
Pavielle, RDH, a 2014 graduate of Prairie State College, joined the Chang Dental team in 2022. Pavielle is a versatile and accomplished hygienist, being also certified in anesthesia, nitrous oxide and diode laser therapy of periodontal tissue. Her gentle and easy going manner, combined with her considerable skill are appreciated by our patients as well as our team. Outside the dental office Pavielle enjoys cooking, reading and traveling with her husband and their two children.
Mindy
Mindy obtained her RDH, and her anesthesia certification, from Northwoods University in Michigan in 2005, and joined us in 2007. Mindy is passionate about keeping all things clean, and our patients appreciate her thorough yet gentle care in keeping their mouths in tip-top shape. She also loves to communicate, and for the patients who enjoy pleasant conversation during their dental visits, she will include that as well. Mindy and her husband stay busy with their two children, and love to travel when they can get away.
Serena
Serena earned her Bachelor’s degree , RDH, and anesthesia certification from colleges in Illinois and Arizona. She especially enjoys working with patients with dental anxiety. Her goal is for patients to leave with a better understanding of their personal oral health and how to achieve optimal health of their gums and teeth. Serena, who is only here one day a week, loves working at Chang Dental, finding it a relaxing and fulfilling break from daily family life. She enjoys activities with her three children, and take them traveling as much as possible.
Kristina
Kristina, one of our full-time Dental Hygienists, grew up in Downers Grove. Kristina graduated from Parkland College in 2013 and is certified in anesthesia, nitrous oxide, and periodontal application of diode laser therapy. Kristina strives for all her patients to be comfortable while she ensures that all her patients have an enjoyable experience at Chang Dental. Outside of work, Kristina loves cooking, spending time with friends and family, being active with Crossfit and walking in Morton Arboretum all year round.
Kim
Kim obtained her CDA in 2017 from College of DuPage Dental Assisting program and has been a highly valuable member of the Chang Dental team ever since. Dentistry has been a passion of Kim’s for as long as she can remember. Kim loves to stay busy, tirelessly keeping the office well supplied, equipped and organized. She especially loves to assist for periodontal procedures. She takes pride and finds great pleasure in helping others throughout each work day. In her free time Kim enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and playing tennis.
Amber
Amber joined the Chang Dental team in 2020 after obtaining a CDA from College of DuPage Dental Assisting program as well as an AA in psychology. Amber plans to further her education, and obtain a position on the Dental Assisting National Board. Amber especially enjoys completing tasks in the lab, helping her co-workers, and improving patient experiences. Outside of work, Amber loves music, nature, vacations and taking her children on adventures.
Anna
Anna is a diligent and caring chairside dental assistant. In 2021 she joined the Chang Dental team and began training on the job. Finding that she really liked the precise teamwork that is required chairside, she was soon more than competent at assisting our general dentists, and also adept at assisting our endodontist. Fun fact: Anna was a patient at Chang Dental for 15 years before she began working with us! Outside of work, Anna enjoys trying new restaurants and going to concerts with her husband.
